The eastern Kazakstan One of the best ski destinations to start up the powder season
I am arranging 2 trips of back country skiing to one of my favorit spots for free riding and off pist.
Bring your fattest touring skis and a lot of energi and join me on this great ski trip, only 8 places!
Program week 1
29th november - DepartureFlight to Almaty, former capital in Kazakstan. Arraving early in the morning and check in at hotel
30th Skiing at Chimbulak, 1 hour drive from Almaty
Dinner and overnight at hotel in Almaty
1th december Local flight to Ust Kamenogorsk (UK) ~1.5hrs flight
From Ust Kamenogorsk mini bus to Ridder for ~2.5hrs
Hopefully we have time to take an afternoon ski tour in the area of Ridder
Dinner and overnight at guesthouse or hotel in Ridder
2-6th 5 days of full on ski-touring in the area of Ridder
Dinner and overnight at guesthouse or hotel in Ridder
7th If possible we do a morning ski tour in Ridder, leaving after lunch to UK for the flight to Astana. 8th december Flight from Astana and home
Program week 2
6th December - Departure
Flight to Almaty, former capital in Kazakstan. Check in at hotel
7th Local flight to Ust Kamenogorsk (UK) ~1.5hrs flight
Then mini bus from Ust Kamenogorsk to Ridder for ~2.5hrs
Check in at guesthouse. Hopefully we have time to make an afternoon ski tour in the area of Ridder. Dinner.
8th to 12th 5 days of full on ski-touring in the area of Ridder
13th If we have time we make a morning ski tour in Ridder, leaving after lunch to Ust- Kamenogorsk for the flight to Almaty
14th Skiing day from the ski area of Chimbulak; lift carried. It is situated about 1 hour from Almaty
15th December Flight from Almaty back home

The skiing days in Ridder is planned for 2 to 6 december, five days Fligts outwards and back to Kazakstan from Almaty
Second week 6 to 15 december 2024
