Basic course Rock climbing

A basic course in rock climbing is aimed at those who have climbed some indoors or you who are completely beginners in climbing but are eager to start.

That is, no prior knowledge is required other than a desire to learn to climb!

All equipment needed is included.

Continuation course Rock climbing
For those who got started with the climb and completed a basic course in rock climbing.
This course aims to develop as a climber and get more out of your climbing.

Comrade rescue course
A comrade rescue course is a good investment for you and your replacement companion who wants to go out on greater adventure or just prevail your knowledge and become safer. Securely, learn how to solve simple as well as complicated situations in incidents and accidents.

Basic course Aid climbing / technical climbing
If you have ambitions to climb larger mountains or just want to develop your knowledge and feel to add a wedge and beat pitons then this is the course for you! Aid climbing technology is something that is good to bring with you in many situations. And to master seemingly impossible situations honor exactly what a course in technical climbing can add.

Objectives and content

The course includes, among other things, a review of different types of bolts, pitons and how to place RURP's, copperheads, birdbeaks and more. To jumare and clear as 2nd man. Placement of pitons, Aid climbing system and soloaid. After completing the course, you should be able to take up a cliff wall on your own, even if it is too difficult to climb freely, too wet or due to other circumstances. With appropriate AID system and equipment.

Summer 2025 - 4 days of rock climbing with a focus on long routes, "multi-pitch"

2:1 ratio maximum

We stay in a guesthouse or hotel with Chamonix as a starting point. We do day trips from CHX or we go to a suitable area in Switzerland or Italy. You should be able to follow grades up to 6a and we climb rocks that only require simple approaches without touching glaciers.

Our "new" climate means that climbing in areas that hold glaciers is becoming increasingly dangerous, with complicated terrain over the glaciers and more and more falls from cliffs and rocks. This has driven me to increasingly refrain from climbing in areas that contain such elements where the glaciers melt away and the permafrost is breaking out of the rock. Instead, I am extending the season towards the latter part of autumn. Nowadays, during September and October/November, conditions are often better with cooler temperatures, more stable rock and fewer people.
